Breaker Brewing Outpost, in the Sturges section of Archbald, is Breaker Brewing Company's northern satellite location open since February 2020. Our large taproom features a large horseshoe shaped bar, a high wooden cathedral ceiling and historic coal mining decor. With 12 beers on draft, we offer a rotating variety of our own unique craft beers along with cocktails crafted with PA made spirits, local wines and sodas. Make sure to try a beer flight or enjoy our Happy Hour, Tuesday through Friday, from 4-6pm. We offer a large food menu including soups, appetizers, burgers, tacos, specialty mac & cheese, flatbreads and more. We are family friendly and offer a kids menu. Our large patio is dog friendly and we even have a dog menu. We just added a large screen TV and several other TVs to keep up on the sports action.     We love the Alter House! We started coming here a couple years ago, and it is now a highlight of our ski trips up to Elk. The food is delicious, and last night they had live music which was great. It was a wonderful dinner and we will be back the next time we are in Clarks Summit.

    The drink recommendation was right on. We split the steak special and it was delicious. They also have the best cream brûlée. My husband said his Caesar salad was one of the best.

    The special salmon stuffed with jumbo lump crab meat was exceptional with the mashed potatoes and the broccoli, rabe, pair martini was excellent as was the quilt Cabernet Sauvignon. cod, fish and chips were excellent as well as the vodka martini. Service was exceptional. Alycia was excellent, knowledgeable, professional and brought our food out in a timely manner. She was excellent just stopped by to say hi and engaged in conversation she is excellent and professional as well and knowledgeable. Great staff up there. Food was exceptional.
