- AAdelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoWe made reservations for this restaurant after church on a Sunday and we were celebrating brunch. It was very noisy when we first got there, but everyone seemed happy and it wasn’t overwhelming. We noticed immediately that the former brunch menu was no longer and they had a smaller menu. However, it was adequate and tasty. Service was excellent. I would recommend the food and the restaurant.More infoMr. D'sPrice: Moderate• American• Albany•4.7

I’ve been fortunate enough to go to many Michelin Starred and New York Times Starred places in my life. So when I say Sea Smoke is an outstanding restaurant I hope that is taken seriously. Because it is.More infoSea Smoke Waterfront GrillPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Troy•4.6
- CCatherineNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Had 1 pm reservations for a Friday lunch and were seated promptly. Dining room was full which was a sign of its popularity. The dining room was nicely decorated and the table settings and tablecloths were a quality touch. Nathan, our server was exceedingly polite and welcoming: a professional in all respects. We ordered the Chicken pot pie. I noticed that no side salad was available on the menu and asked Nathan if one were available. He said it wasn’t a problem at all and the side salads provided were perfect. The pot pie was served in a a tall, cup-like dish, sitting in a lower, wider dish, topped with a puff-pastry biscuit on top. We actually weren’t sure how to eat it and Nathan explained we should remove the pastry, pour the pot pie into the larger dish, and put the pastry on top. The instructions were very helpful and given in such a way as to not embarrass us, much to Nathan’s credit. The pot pie was delicious with generously-sized portions of white meat. We ordered a side of breads, a small basket with a variety of rolls. All were freshly made and tasty. We finished with apple pie a la mode. The pie was also freshly-made and delicious, with a fluffy crust totally different than mass-produced pies. Red Lion is definitely worth the visit: both the food and staff are exceptional and the Inn is just full of character.
