- JJeffAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat food. Better than any seafood buffet at the beach. Impeccable service. To top off a great meal a dessert bar to die for!More infoBlue Ridge -Omni Grove Park Inn & SpaPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Asheville•4.7

- SStaceyColumbus •9 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoA very cute place with super service. We sat at the bar (requested) and ordered traditional southern fare - fried green tomatoes over grits (excellent), hot pimento cheese dip (very good - hubby likes it better than i did, but I’m used to it cold on a sandwich). For dinner we had the fried chicken (dark meat) and collards - both excellent, though next time I’ll request to leave off the honey dust, I would have preferred it without the hint of sweetness. Hubby ordered the pulled pork in confit - excellent on all fronts but be ready as it’s not “rich” but it’s a lot! And I had to try the biscuits with butter and blueberry j as a dessert (it’s a starter). The biscuits were as good as my momma makes and the butter was nice and whipped. Next time I’ll just order the biscuits with butter and honey - not that the blueberry was anything but lovely - just that’s they way I grew up ;) All in all - if you’ve got southern roots or want authentic southern cookin’ this will remind you of home!More infoTupelo Honey - Downtown AshevillePrice: Moderate• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Asheville•4.6
- JJamesVIPCincinnati / Dayton •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had an excellent dinner at Rye Knot! Our group of five included two people who eat gluten-free, and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of options available – way more than their website or Yelp lets on. If you’re gluten intolerant, this place is a hidden gem with tons of choices. We’re always on the lookout for spots north of Asheville, and Rye Knot was a great new find. My wife ordered a gluten-free Reuben with gluten-free fries, and my daughter had a gluten-free sandwich. The rest of us enjoyed the fish and chips, a filet, and the meatloaf – everything was delicious. Portions were generous, leaning on the larger side, which we appreciated. The drink menu is extensive, with lots of beer and cocktail options. Every bar order we tried was excellent. While they seemed a little short-staffed, the service didn’t skip a beat. The manager, chef, and bartender all pitched in to help serve, and it really showed – we didn’t experience any delays. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a laid-back, unpretentious, and slightly military-inspired vibe. Rye Knot is definitely on our list of places to return to. Highly recommend!More infoRye KnotPrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.6
