Our waitress and the staff were very attentive despite the restaurant being so full. The only advice I would give this restaurant is make way for your visitors. We had so much staff cutting us off while walking to the salad bar or the restroom. The one thing I have remembered from very prestigious restaurants is the staff giving the patrons the right of way in the hallways etc. Other than this, it was a wonderful evening with amazing food!More infoFogo de Chão - Pasadena, CAPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Pasadena•4.1

Upon entering The Arbour, it was kind of plain-jane in decor, but the food - so many great dishes that it was difficult for the 3 of us to make a decision. I had the seared tuna. Loved it except the wasabi sauce was a little too spicy (I don't do well with spicy stuff; probably ok for everyone else). Otherwise excellent. My stepson had the salmon, it was a big filet, cooked perfectly. My husband had the chicken, it had an unusual presentation, but it was also excellent. Our waitress was so efficient, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional that we wanted to call her "Mom." The pumpkin pie and chocolate mousse were out of this world! We'll definitely go back.More infoThe Arbour - PasadenaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Pasadena•4.7

She had the rabbit on the menu, and it was delicious. Rabbit is NEVER easy to find on any menu or in the markets. So it was a real treat. I had to Branzino and it was also wonderful.More infoCelestinoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Pasadena•4.7

- HHectorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIf you're craving authentic Japanese food, Shin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya in Alhambra is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with an authentic vibe that transports you straight to Japan. I started with their famous Japanese meat skewers—absolutely delicious! The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The flavors were spot-on, and each skewer was a delightful burst of savory goodness. Next, I had the ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a great depth that comes from hours of careful preparation. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings (from soft-boiled eggs to tender slices of pork) really elevated the dish. It's easily one of the best ramen bowls I've had. To round out the meal, I enjoyed a glass of cold sake. It was smooth and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly without sacrificing quality. Whether you're a fan of yakitori or ramen, this place does it right. I’ll definitely be back for more!More infoShin-Sen-Gumi Yakitori & Men-Ya - AlhambraPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Alhambra•4.7
