The Christmas lunch menu should be a regular staple. Daniel was an amazing host...More infoThe Terrace - Emporium Hotel South Bank BrisbanePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Asian• South Bank•4.5

I would be confident booking this venue for events because they clearly demonstrated their ability to manage and cater to a large crowd. I would expect their day-to-day operations to also be as efficient and good value as their events. Staff were pleasant, helpful and there were plenty of people to call on if assistance or service was required. The decor was attractive, the layout of the area easy to navigate and the noise level even with a large attendance was very comfortable. There were a few small issues, such as a slow-draining sink in the toilets, but sometimes an older building has these kinds of challenges. Speaking specifically of the food in the Christmas Day buffet, the seafood was absolutely fresh and of good quality, trays of hot food were replenished regularly and the dessert display was absolutely delightful. There was an impressive range of food available and it was plentiful. Everything was well labelled. The large group was managed well with no long hold-ups or bottlenecks. The atmosphere was subtly festive without being over the top. Overall my group had a great experience and I would not hesitate to attend another function at Hotel West End. If I lived more locally, I would also be happy to visit on regular days.More infoHotel West EndPrice: Moderate• Bistro• South Bank•4.5
- BBernadetteBrisbane •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI ordered the slow cooked lamb with broccolini and roast potatoes, it was delicious, like a true home cooked dinner. My husband ordered the pizza Angelo, he loved the thin crispy pizza base and the lamb was tender and the topping full of flavour. The torte for desert - superb! We shared it and ended our beautiful night out with a walk across the river on the footbridge..More infoOlive and AngeloPrice: Expensive• Italian• Brisbane CBD•4.2

Could use some soft furnishings in fit out as very noisey, not sure on new style. Overall great time!More infoCRU Bar & CellarPrice: Expensive• Wine Bar• Fortitude Valley•4.6
- JJanineBrisbane •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoBrilliant service, super cosy atmosphere and the most drool-worthy, authentic Italian we have had for a long time in Brisbane. Incredibly accommodating and I could not fault a thing. Home made focaccia to go with our charcuterie was DELICIOUS, super generous pasta servings and I even had a non-alcoholic spritz made that was just like the real thing. Definitely coming back. Do yourself a favour and try COMO! Bravo team 👏More infoComo RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• South Brisbane•4.7
