Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. We also offer a range of private dining experiences, and can accommodate 60 seated guests, or up to 100 for reception-style events. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

    Fabulous experience at Essa yet again! Adrien & Maggie were purely delightful and we really enjoyed their impeccable level of service! Adrien is such an amazing Sommelier and his knowledge of wine is next level! Set menu was not what we had anticipated (we weren’t advised of it when we booked months ago), however it was divine and incredible value. Wow, just, what a fabulous evening and we will be back for sure!

    Went out Valentines day. They were SO BUSY, yet the food arrived within a decent time, and the service was attentive. We don't eat out at semi-expensive places often, and this was a reminder that the food is SO MUCH BETTER. Wife tried something she never had before and was gushing over it. Ambience was great, lots of greenery, subtle Italian music in the background, and even though it was packed, we could talk in normal voices. Highly recommended. The whole meal (plus rose, as I am a softy) came in at $250 which included a couple of drinks each. Absolutely worth every cent, which comes from someone who isn't exactly flush with cash.

    This was our third visit to Sasso & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Was quite busy for a Monday night but we were served in a timely manner & nothing was too much trouble. We have the Arancini balls - lovely & CRISP!! Followed by Rigatoni Amatriciana & Spaghetti Allo Scoglio followed by Tiramisu to share. Wines also lovely. We went for the Italian prossecco followed by a lovely Chianti. Will be back 🫶
