Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     I always enjoy Rusk. This time I had the baby kale salad with salmon and my friend was pleased with the burger. Great drinks, and chocolate flourless for dessert. My husband’s favorites are the Cajun fettuccini and the beef rib dish: both enormous! We will return soon.

    Everything there was great. The food, the staff and the atmosphere. We had been told by multiple people of how great the food was and ie did not disappoint. All of our questions were answered and we were able to taste a few wines before we decided on one. The portions were perfect and we all really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

    We very much enjoyed our evening at Rusk and we’ll definitely go back at some point. Winter time is fun in the igloos and summarized nice because you can be upstairs. It’s easy to park and get around, which is always a nice extra. The menu is nice and food is delicious.
