Le Francesca's Amici a ouvert en juillet 1999 et est le 6e établissement du Francesca's Restaurant Group. Il propose au centre-ville d'Elmhurst un restaurant avec l'ambiance contemporaine et sophistiquée d'une « trattoria » offrant une excellente cuisine rustique, un service amical et des prix équitables. Le menu présente une cuisine fraîchement inspirée de Rome et des régions avoisinantes de la Toscane, Ombrie et Latium. Situé au cœur du centre-ville d'Elmhurst, le restaurant se trouve à mi-chemin entre le centre-ville de Chicago et les banlieues ouest. Le Francesca’s Restaurant Group a été fondé en 1992 par le restaurateur Scott Harris. Tout a commencé dans un petit restaurant italien situé sur North Clark Street à Chicago, puis le savoir-faire s’est développé à travers trois concepts de restaurants situés dans 33 emplacements à travers quatre états.
