They gave us wagyu straight from Japan as a surprise, plenty of wine, and a variety of different fish and meats that were excellent! We really enjoyed our experience!More infoBanyan TreePrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Kapalua•4.5

Our waiter Alejandro was very attentive, courteous, & friendly, enhancing our dining experience. The food was fine. For the price & extra service fee, I would expect some bread or olive starter. Portions are adequate, no leftovers.More infoTaverna - MauiPrice: Expensive• Italian• Kapalua•4.5
- CCHARLESVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •222 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our party of five adults and one infant’s second visit to Sansei Kapalua during our one week vacation on Maui. The food was delicious as usual, including the Lobster and shrimp mashed potatoes, lobster and crab ravioli, the beautifully prepared pork chop, and numerous sushi rolls, including the Sansei special, Spicy tuna, and super red dragon rolls. The shrimp dynamite is our favorite appetizer. We had incredibly wonderful service for Megan as she was so easy-going, attentive, friendly, and helpful. She helped make this a special night for all of us. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and evening.More infoSansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar-Kapalua, MauiPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Kapalua•4.7
- TThomasVIPSouth Carolina •7 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGreat location- beautiful views - excellent food - busy, busy! Only complaints would be 30" wait for a table AFTER confirmed reservation time. Not a great start to a Birthday celebration for my wife! Ushered to the outdoor bar for a drink while waiting for table; great views from the deck but ... why have a reservation (made 60 days ago and re-confirmed) if you're going to have to wait?? Food was delicious and while waiter was competent, we felt he was distracted by larger parties and catered to them while letting us wait. Instead of paying with a credit card, I paid cash just so we wouldn't have to wait.More infoMerriman's - MauiPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kapalua•4.8
- KKyleSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI recently had the pleasure of dining at The Plantation, and it was an experience worth sharing. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was outstanding—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Each dish reflected a clear dedication to quality and detail, making every bite memorable. The setting was equally impressive. With a stunning view that added to the ambiance, it provided the perfect backdrop for a quiet, relaxing dinner. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy such tranquility while savoring great food. The service was excellent as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive, which truly elevated the evening. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. If you’re looking for a spot with fantastic food, impeccable service, and a serene atmosphere, The Plantation is a must-visit.More infoThe Plantation House RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Hawaiian• Kapalua•4.8
