Best Casual Restaurants in Lake Forest

Food was great, service was also very good, we aren’t a needy group and the servers wine recommendation was spot on. Will be repeating our visits.

We visited Saranello’s with a plan of having our rehearsal dinner at their restaurant and getting a feel for the place. Not only was Mary (the Events manager) a delight, she answered all of our questions and gave us pointers for the event. Our dinner afterwards at the restaurant was DELICIOUS, and our server Joann was a firecracker in the best way. Not only does the restaurant have great food and a welcoming atmosphere, you really get the sense that the team likes one another and have a nice time while still making the customers feel like VIPs. 10/10 would recommend for dinner and or your private event needs, these guys are pros. :)

We had an outstanding dinner experience at Scotty’s. The food was excellent - everyone at our table of six enjoyed their meals. The service was superb - they went above and beyond to cater to my wife’s food allergies and were attentive and engaging.

Great food, Great service will definitely go there again. Good menu variety also.

Every dish we got was delicious. Reasonable prices which is hard to find these days at restaurants. The omelet was huge. The banana nut French toast was fantastic.
