Best Casual Restaurants in Lansing

Really great place for are first time there! My fiancé got the shrimp and crab cake, he wishes he would have gotten something else but he loved the lobster bisque! I got raw oysters, yumm!! With seared scallops with sweat potato and miso risotto! 10/10 over all it was a great place!!

Service was great, our server was understanding and accomodated my dietary limitations without issue. Overall wonderful experience, and good quality food for not too much money. Great place for a date!

This was my first time to BJ's, and I was with my child daughter having dinner before an event at the Wharton. I don't have any complaints about visiting BJ's. The menu was huge, a good reason to come back and try more. We only had the burgers, and they were huge and cooked medium just as we asked. Pizookies, what a fun menu option. We each chose a different flavor and they were delicious. Decent price point compared to similar dining options.

Excellent food and experience as always. I appreciate that HopCat is on OpenTable so we can make reservations because it’s a very busy place.
