64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of. We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

The first stage of evolution began with a complete renovation of the building. Of the major structural changes, the most significant included repositioning of the staircase leading to the basement. The result is a dining experience that can includes a unique ‘Mykonos’ style bar in the basement for cocktails, mezedakia and even live music events. The rest of the restaurant interior has been carefully designed to create a balanced ambience be-fitting of dishes that are served and for the diners who want to combine perfectly prepared Greek-Cypriot food with a touch of class. With attention to every detail, the chef and kitchen team has managed to perfect the preparation of food; from supply chain to the way it sits, and the plate it sits on. The emphasis is on quality of produce at good prices; the result is a wonderfully simple and affordable fusion of old and new Greek-Cypriot mezedakia / tapas style dishes in the heart of the west end.

We focus on bringing good things together. We’re a local restaurant, but we think big. We believe in breaking down barriers to connect the best things in life: diverse cuisines, different experiences and new friends. If that means throwing out the rulebook and doing things a bit differently, then that’s exactly what we do.From having our chefs serve our food, to putting a bar on the street outside our restaurant. If it works, it works. Our 70-seater restaurant features a walk up outdoor bar, a chef’s counter downstairs and a large dining room on the ground floor. Expect Asian inspired food, cocktails and sake.

Really excellent. Will definitely return. We all ate different things and each dish scored top marks. Lovely intimate feel and friendly staff. Not cheap but unlike many other places does deliver top notch cooking. Only glitch, and hence not five stars all round, was side dishes failed to appear which meant the mains were pretty much meat plus sauce / garnish and they needed a bit more.

Great central location, cosy restaurant and friendly staff. Menu has a big selection of small plates. Prices are quite good for the area. Most of the food was tasty although one aubergine dish tasted old to me. My friend still ate it but could see what I meant that it didn’t taste great
