Best Casual Restaurants in New Tampa

What an outstanding meal! Our server, Courtney, was lovely, always there when we needed her, but never obtrusive. We were a little concerned that the restaurant would be overwhelmed today, and although it was definitely slammed, our service never suffered. All the food was delicious. The shrimp Al ajillo was perfect. Best Palomilla I’ve had in years. The flan was the cherry, or strawberry in this case, on top of the meal. Can’t wait to go again.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I feel like this place is deserving. We chose this restaurant because we saw the Christmas decorations. We sat at the bar for a few drinks before moving to our table. The Old Fashion was great and the girls really enjoyed the “Cindy Lou”. When we decided to move to the table we were greeted by the friendliness waitress. We ordered a few appetizers but I would say that the bursts with duck prosciutto was the winner. For Dinner it was a toss up between the short rib dish and the Sea Bass. Although the smash burger was pretty good also. Looking forward to our next visit.

Quality Foods is an experience and an education. If you saw it from the outside you would think it’s a pizzeria that you can just drop in for a quick bite. If you just walked in off the street you might be confused because half of the place is storage for wine and food. There are only about four tables available inside. But the reason we would go back is the experience. We were almost full before dinner. We had fantastic bread & olive oil/balsamic, caprese salad and tomato bisque. So by the time our pasta came, we could barely eat half of it. But it was amazing. I ate the tastiest scallop I’ve ever had in my life. My husband had the ragu pasta and was also in love. Again, it’s an experience that Chef Chris personally guides each guest through by talking to everyone multiple times. He’s a very proud chef and owner and we see why now.

We wished we lived here full-time because we would stop by every week. Thanks for an exceptional dinner of farm-to-table perfection. The service, plating, and execution were all harmonized for another memorable evening. We live in Manhattan and dine at all Michelin levels on every continent regularly. Rooster & the Till is one of our favorites of the world.
