Food & service was outstanding! We have enjoyed having lunch or dinner here each time we are in town for a cruise. Look forward to coming back.

We always come for Happy Hour. But this time we got food before drinks. It took 10-12 minutes for our drinks to finally be brought to the table. So we decided to order another round on the ziosk thinking that maybe that bar was really busy. It took at-least another 12 minutes before the server came back over to ask us if we had ordered another round. It was just slow service and at the end we couldn’t find our server anywhere. We had a table full of empty glassware, and dirty plates. I even stacked the plates in hopes he would see it and take it to dish. Hoping it was just an off night for him.

How do you make the holidays even more celebratory—bring a group of friends to Casa D’Angelo for an elevated culinary escapade! We have been dining here for two decades and have consistently had an outstanding experience because of the stellar cuisine, authentic ingredients, and amazing staff. Michele and his team are so warm and hospitable, and Chef Angelo even paid us a visit, which was a nice surprise! Tatiana was very knowledgeable and friendly as she regaled us with the biblical specials list, each one more intriguing than the next; the fresh spinach ravioli with sage, brown butter, and pine nuts was elegant, the Dover sole kissed with a beurre blanc and toasted almonds was dreamy, and the braised short rib on homemade pappardelle was hearty and sublime! We had a table for 7, yet Tatiana served us with a graceful ease. The fresh pasta with Alba white truffle was another standout—thoughtfully prepared with its delicate earthiness, highlighting the star ingredient. The wine list is beyond generous with its global offerings, we opted for a 2016 Damiliano Barolo that was silky on the palate, an amazing accompaniment. We definitely appreciated Francisco, their knowledgeable Sommelier, who filled our glasses with a smile and even gave a tour of their labyrinth of wines! Of course, no meal would be complete without dessert-the house-favorite tiramisu, rich molten chocolate cake, and fluffy ricotta cheesecake with berries helped us end on a sweet note. Thank you to Chef Angelo, Michele, Tatiana, Francisco and the whole team for another amazing meal!

This restaurant is consistently a treat for us to visit after appointments at Cleveland Clinic in Weston. We lived many years in the Washington DC area and loved all the Matchboxes there and were so happy to find this one in Sawgrass Mills. We have often been served by the same waiter, Fred and, while he started with us today with his usual friendly smile and welcome, as he was getting off duty soon we met Christian who was equally charming. The pepperoni pizza has always been a favorite of my husband's and he truly appreciates the small slices of pepperoni used in its making. We live in West Palm Beach so coming here regularly is not feasible but we try to always plan around our appointments so we can have a midafternoon lunch/early dinner here before we head north.
