Best Casual Restaurants in Poway / Rancho Bernardo

We ordered the orange crush roll and the sea spider roll it was a fantastic pairing! The orange crush had the richness of the salmon and cream cheese, a touch of spice with the spicy tuna, and the crunch of the shrimp tempura. The sea spider added a touch of welcoming acidity with the sauce on top of the crunch from the soft shell crab and the spicy crab inside. The best part of dinner was the Chef’s Special 15 piece nigiri. The 5 pieces of toro was a beautiful touch. The quality of the toro was the best I’ve had in San Diego! Would definitely recommend for people trying to get some quality sushi for a good value, would go again!

Our waitress, Danielle, was a pleasure to have take care of us. Pleasant, funny and helpful with our choices. Enjoyed the experience!

A few days ago we had the most delicious feast at the Black Angus! Literally. We ordered the Campfire Feast and it sure is! We chose the shrimp to share, we each made our choices for entre and sides from a long list, then split the carrot cake. Everything was perfect and delicious and, Theresa, our server, timed our whole meal just right so nothing arrived too soon. That's important too. And, to make it even better, we saved some money because we're Rewards members and used our special offer. You just can't beat it! We will be back real soon!

I was in the mood to dine at chicken Charlie’s with my mom, Aunt, and Grandma to celebrate part of my birthday. The food we had was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptionally great. What was really fun was listening to some numbers on the speaker system they have. Sure it was raining that day so we sat inside, but it doesn’t matter where we end up sitting. We usually go there once every year and I have no doubt we will continue to go there for many more years to come. 

Attentive wait staff, a lot of meal options, delicious food and the chips, salsa and cheese sauce they bring when you sit down are my favorite of any Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at.
