Best Casual Restaurants in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle

We are from Vancouver and have enjoyed access to top notch Japanese cuisine. Mikoh was an exceptional surprise (here in Bucerías). Our group stated - “the best gyoza I’ve EVER had”, “absolutely delicious sushi rice”, and “grilled pork belly - fantastic!” I would put Mikoh against the best the Pacific Northwest has to offer. The service was also exceptional. We shall be back in 48 hours with a party of 8. Kanpai!

Hamburger was excellent. Fillet mignon was a bit tough, some vegetables were not cooked at all (cauliflower) even though they were supposed to be roasted or were half cooked (potatoes). The mescalized flan and passionfruit cheesecake desserts were both outstanding. Beers were just extraordinary—IPA and stout. Music was a bit too loud for our taste but ambience was really fun. The service was 10+++. Be sure to make a reservation.

Absolutely phenomenal experience all the way around. The food was amazing and very reasonable pricing. Gerry, our experience coordinator (aka waiter), was outstanding. The ambience cannot be matched. Noise level was ideal. Absolutely the best dining experience we’ve had in Bucerias in the 7 years we’ve been coming. On par with the best restaurants in NY, LA, and Chicago. Recommend 1000%!

Had a great salad, pizzza and pasta while we listened to music.

If u have dined here before… be aware! The renovation of MM is ok luxe surroundings but has lost the charm of an authentic Mexico on the beach with the open grill and fresh fish coming in! So disappointed! No tacos on the menu anymore. High priced items that were still very good. Service and staff were exceptional. The St. Regis has made some changes…. Some for the good but some not so good. I will rethink my return.
