When we started Big Top Brewing Company, there were no craft breweries in the Sarasota area and we set out to fix that. We wanted to compliment Sarasota’s historical associations with The Ringling Circus, performing arts, great architecture, the best art and design schools and world renown tourism.     We dined at Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurant for my birthday celebration. Our Waitress, Paula, was very helpful, since it was our first time at Coopers Hawk, with choosing our wine, dinner and surprised us with a delightful birthday truffle dessert. We had the steak medallion lunch and it was tender, cooked to our request and delicious. We will be back to Coopers Hawk.

    Incredible dining experience - excellent food. Try the rustic bread with whipped ricotta, it’s fantastic. Our server Josh was outstanding - attentive, kind, allowed our dinner to flow at our own pace. The atmosphere is gorgeous - my husband says each time we visit that he’d like to incorporate features like that into our next home. Keep up the great work!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Dinner was delicious. Of course it never disappoints! The restaurant was full, but noise level was moderate due to the three different levels. Our waiter was David one of the bar tenders. Very helpful, considerate and cheerful! Would love to request him again. Will be going back for sure

    Great food - Grouper was amazing. Everything is well prepared, generous portions, and the tableside prep of the 1905 salad and pitcher of sangria is fun. Great quality, reasonably priced, and very consistent.

    Great energetic atmosphere. There were lots of families with small children, as well as all other age groups. Outdoor seating had colorful seating tables, a large rectangular fire pit with plenty of seating around it. Long outdoor bar with TV's. The food is scratch made and delicious.
