Our waiter was great - personable, good sense of humor, and happy to accommodate my request to omit something from my dish.

Food tasted good. But my soup of the day was in a red sauce and so was my salmon. My fault I should have asked but I am not a fan of red sauces. I prefer white. I will know to ask next time. Gelato was excellent

Can’t decide which I like better, the pizza or the burger? I guess the answer is both. In a state known for its New Haven-style pizza, Emmy’s Detroit-style certainly holds its own. On my recent visit I tried their house burger, at the suggestion of the waitress, and it was incredible. So I’ll have a really tough choice on my next visit … burger or pizza? Although, no doubt that I will have their frozen margarita no matter what the temperature is outside.

Fantastic. Food was amazingly delicious, fresh and well presented. Drinks were fabulous as well. Already looking forward to returning.

Food, ambiance, value were all great. The ONLY deduction in the star rating is that the service was a little “pressing.” It was a Monday, and there were some (but not many) other clients. My colleague and I had a lot on which to catch up … we wanted a leisurely time over drinks to talk. We had to (politely) ask the waiter to allow us the time before ordering food … twice; we did order drinks, however. The food was spectacular … we will most certainly come again.
