Acova is writing the next chapter of one of Denver’s great neighborhoods. An iconic locale in a historic district, Acova builds on the rich story of “The Northside” (now known as LoHi) by breathing new life into an address with soul. Even its name pays homage to its South Broadway sibling restaurant The Hornet, while tipping a cap to its storied Italian predecessor Patsy’s. The place you bring friends and family from out of town to show them what Denver’s all about. The place you go for that after work cocktail, or your go to date spot, whether it’s your first or 50th date. The place you get the group together on a Saturday night, and where you recover together on a Sunday morning. Acova is the next Highlands institution, bearing vintage flair and contemporary charm that threads the past into the future. Acova brings you back time and again because you are part of this story now, and Acova is part of yours.

Here, we believe all the best things happen in the morning: sunrises, coffee drinks, small breakfast burritos tucked in large breakfast burritos and walks of shame. Born out of Carrie Baird and Michael Fox’s true love for classic American breakfast served with lighthearted twists and an equal passion of all things boozy-brunch-drinks, Fox & The Hen is your new LoHi all-day breakfast concept. Our focus is bringing friends and family together, incredibly delicious (and fun!) food, creative beverages and having everyone who leaves the Fox & the Hen feel their day is better than when they came in.We do not seat incomplete parties, sorry.

Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more. Dining at Mezcaleria Alma for my partner’s birthday was such a treat for the both of us. The entire team was attentive yet gave appropriate space. Everyone was excited about what they were serving us, from cocktails, mezcal, to each plate. We loved everything we ate. It was delicious and thoroughly enjoyable, not just a beautiful presentation or cool experience (which each plate still was). Definitely recommend Mezcaleria Alma for its thoughtfully curated food, drink, environment, and service.

We had a great experience at Acova this evening. First off, I was very impressed with their reservation system. I initially made the res. Online for early this evening but due to a change in plans had to push it back. I called the restaurant knowing it wasn't open yet and that it might not get answered. I left a voicemail requesting the new res. time. I assumed I would need to call again later in the day to confirm the change but within 3 minutes I received a confirmation email with the res. change (still before the restaurant was even open for the day). Our server was amazing! We brought our two young kids and she was very engaging and accommodating (getting kids food in first, split plates, etc.) She had great menu knowledge and didn't steer us wrong with recommendations. Food was delicious, cocktails were amazing! We'll definitely be back! Menu recommendations: spicy mezcal margarita, beef short rib risotto, crab cakes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is such a unique spot on Tennyson Street in Denver. It's on the 3rd floor and the vibe is sparce, but nice. The food is, of course, the main event. We had the Pre-Fixe and it was delightful, the staff was friendly and approachable, and the food was as fusion as you can get - which is lovely. from Wagyu beef to shaken chef rice which is lit. shaken table-side made the meal enjoyable. This was out of my typical comfort zone for food -- but the preparation was so good, and the tastes were lovely. I'll def. be back!
