- SStaceyColumbus •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoA very cute place with super service. We sat at the bar (requested) and ordered traditional southern fare - fried green tomatoes over grits (excellent), hot pimento cheese dip (very good - hubby likes it better than i did, but I’m used to it cold on a sandwich). For dinner we had the fried chicken (dark meat) and collards - both excellent, though next time I’ll request to leave off the honey dust, I would have preferred it without the hint of sweetness. Hubby ordered the pulled pork in confit - excellent on all fronts but be ready as it’s not “rich” but it’s a lot! And I had to try the biscuits with butter and blueberry j as a dessert (it’s a starter). The biscuits were as good as my momma makes and the butter was nice and whipped. Next time I’ll just order the biscuits with butter and honey - not that the blueberry was anything but lovely - just that’s they way I grew up ;) All in all - if you’ve got southern roots or want authentic southern cookin’ this will remind you of home!More infoTupelo Honey - Downtown AshevillePrice: Moderate• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Asheville•4.6
- VVictoriaGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a lovely experience! It was rushed because we had tickets for an event and messed up our timing. Although no fault of the staffs, they were kind and understanding when we had to leave immediately after eating. Our food was insanely good….so so so good. I wish I had ordered more scallops. My husband was blown away with the swordfish. Absolutely top 10 meals of our lifetime. We will be back! Asheville and WNC still need us. We are thankful to come and support this beautiful place!More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5
- PPaulaAustin •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHad the fried brussel sprouts and shrimp & grits. Both were great. They have several 2 tops, but they were spaced nicely so you didn’t feel like you were having dinner with the table next to you or that they were part of your conversation. Would go back and recommend it.More infoVillage Social-Biltmore EstatePrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Asheville•4.6
