Mr Stern made a point of coming around to each table to see how we were doing. Honored our reservation on time. Loved the little touch of putting a tiny light in each drink to make them glow. Brunch menu had a wonderful assortment to choose from. Only down side…slightly pricey for the amount of food you get. But I do understand food prices are out of control. And it was noisy, we sat next to a birthday party of ladies that certainly enjoyed themselves. Not the restaurants fault, just made it difficult to carry on a conversation. We would definitely return.More infoStern & BowPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Closter•4.7

It’s New York so yes expect it to be crowded but they are efficient, kind and the food is amazing.More infoCarnegie Diner & Café – 205 W 57th St, New York, NYPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.6

My friends go there frequently, and I decided to tag along, and it was wonderful! The food was delicious and so beautifully prepared… We decided to share some appetizers of fig and arugula, pizza, mojo de ajo shrimp, and dates stuffed with goat cheese. They were all superb. We also each got a small salad. I had the fried goat cheese, which was amazing. I really enjoyed the coziness and warm feel of this place and will definitely be back!More infoHo-Ho-Kus Inn & TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Ho-Ho-Kus•4.5
