Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Jamestown

It was a Sunday night and not too busy. We were a table of six so we could hear each other speak which was great! The waitress was extremely competent and fun. The food was delicious. We even had desserts and they were freshly homemade and excellent. We totally enjoyed it. We will be back very soon!

The service was great. We had an early reservation and alone in the dining room for awhile. The selection was good. The food was good, I would say not outstanding. Had the shrimp scampi which was tasty but tasted like garlic from a jar was used. My husband and I were satisfied, the price was good for what we got.

Absolutely delicious, able to accommodate a gluten free diner in our party. From the moment we entered through the door we had a feeling we had found somewhere special. Andi, our server was amazing as was the food, the wine list and dessert is not to be missed!

This was our first visit to Johnny’s. Their buffet was excellent. Turkey was moist and all foods were delicious. There was delicious and warm fish, beef along with yams and squash. The pecan pie was the best we have ever ate. Staff did an excellent job of spacing the reservations to keep the crowd manageable which allowed for the short buffet line to move quickly and efficiently. Service was friendly and prompt checking often to make sure we were satisfied. New replacement trays of warm food was done promptly. We are looking forward to eating at Johnny’s the next time we are in Newport. Dining room and restrooms very clean.

We had a wonderful lunch. Everything was perfect and excellent.
