- KKarenJacksonville / Northeast Florida •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThey have complimentary Valet Parking. Very cold day 2/19, upon entering owner had a wind block curtain to keep customers warm from front door opening/closing. We sat in a comfy booth to right along mirrored wall in booth. Many eat at one of the prettiest, most charming (love the lamps w/shades atop bar) bars ever. Menu brief and easy. Nice choice of items. Service was good. I ordered Chicken Paillard. So pretty the presentation, thinnest sounded chicken ever, covered total plate. Topped with Arugula. Seasoned fine but, overall, chicken too dry. Would ask for some kind of dressing (ranch/Bleu cheese) if ordered again. Others ordered Chicken salad sandwich either generous side of fruit, the pear and brie grilled cheese, side of delicious potato salad and generous "cup" of acorn squash soup. All very tasty. Burger with fries seemed to be the hit at the table. Had the most delicious regular drip cup of coffee after. They have cappuccino/expresso/lattes. The mug/saucer used was very pretty. Look forward to coming back. In spring, they will have outside seating. This is a great choice.More infoRelish Restaurant & Bar - Town and CountryPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• West Side•4.8

- DdaleHouston •36 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025The old cliché “momma’s home cooking “, well this is Down Home Southern Cooking, Grandma’s House, chicken fried steak ( don’t need a knife just a fork), fried catfish & shrimp with shut dogs ( hush puppies)for those not from the south, just like Grandma used to make. Wow and the manger made you feel as if you were the most welcome and important person in the Restaurant, the staff friendly, caring and accommodating.👍👍👍👍👍More infoState Fare Kitchen & Bar - MemorialPrice: Moderate• American• West Side•4.3
- KKimberlyVIPHouston •47 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 10, 2025I ordered the Denver Roast and it was much better than expected. The roast was tender and seasoned to perfection. The mashed potatoes and carrots were delicious as well. The Tres Leches for dessert was 10/10. For my first cocktail I ordered a lemon drop. I drank it but it was not to my liking so for my second cocktail I ordered a pomegranate mule. I drank that one as well but would not order either of them again.More infoJonathan's The Rub at Campbell PlacePrice: Moderate• American• West Side•4.9
