Best Cozy Restaurants in Baldwin Hills

Service is attentive, professional, and at the same time casual. Bar is very comfortable if a bit loud when you’re right under the speakers but bartender adjusted them. Food standouts were the grilled olives and asparagus with morels. Rest of the food including a ‘three-finger’ Bistecca alla fiorentina were very good. Main dining room is cosy low tables and there’s a strip of outside tables enclosed by greenery from the parking lot. The open kitchen next to the bar with the Argentine grill was not being used the night we went. Don’t know if they’ve permanently moved the kitchen or only use it on busy nights. Top 4 of my steakhouses in LA.

We have now been to both locations; this time the Brentwood location. Service was amazing, from the time we walked through the doors, to being seated and served. The downside of the evening, was that our meals were a little lackluster. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day, that the kitchen may have rushed out our meals, but items tasted over/under cooked; appetizers to main courses. Ah well, would still visit the 3rd St. location and give them another try.

It was solid with alot of options that suit a variety of tastes and the meatballs and sole was can’t miss.

Super rainy day but beautiful inside. Food and service was fantastic. We had Cobb salad and a grain bowl with chicken. Great portions. Spectacular chocolate dessert and it was gluten free!

Service and food were very good. Had 530pm reservation which was perfect as it does get very noisy.
