Best Cozy Restaurants in Frisco Heights

The food was excellent! My chicken fried steak was fork tender. Even though it was a busy night (Valentine's) we were seated quickly. The service was attentive and prompt. A great place for a date night!

My wife and I visited Plank for Valentines Day and loved it! This was our first time here, and we were excited to try it out. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible. My wife got the calamari, but I enjoyed the tempura vegetables that came with it even more than the calamari. I got the red fish ceviche; all the flavors worked well together. She loved the blackened chicken linguini and my loup de mer was fantastic. The mushroom risotto side was one of the best side dishes I have ever had. We cannot wait to come back and visit again.

Our luncheon was terrific. The service was excellent. Very friendly. Our food was yummy. The only problem was that we were VERY cold because Doc Bs was having trouble with its heat. In fact, there was no heat. I’m sure it will be fixed the next time we have lunch/dinner.

We loved the charm and sophistication of the restaurant. The staff was attentive, courteous and professional. The food was OUTSTANDING, including the appetizers and then the steak and sides and of course the Butter cake for desert. Highly recommend for that special occasion or any time you want to be pampered.. Our server, Sergio was top notch!

As most people have experienced, the food, service and decorations were superb, leading to an overall great experience. However, the place is small and as the crowds piled in, the ambiance became more hectic. This is a problem that probably will resolve itself after the novelty of the restaurant wears off. The loud contemporary music also added to the hectic atmosphere. My companion and I had the artichoke appetizer, the Turbot , the Tandoori Lamb, and the Indian style spinach with cheese. . All were delicious and spiced generously. The overall menu choices do not represent the more or less bland English contemporary style cooking but more of the British Empire's historic association with colonial India. A great addition to the ever more sophisticated Fort Worth restaurant collection. .
