- EElaineVIPNew York City •14 reviews4.0Dined todayWe had a terrific server, and the staff was attentive. We liked that the patrons were of all ages — not just stuffy UES folks. The ambiance was good (though a bit too noisy), and the neighborhood needs more restaurants like this. Every seat seemed filled. The menu, however, was too limited (too basic; too much fried or heavy comfort food) and needs to expand to offer “lighter,” healthier - and more creative offerings. And even the existing healthier offerings could be tweaked: for example, the chopped salad (for me) was ruined by too many green olives. Balance was needed. The price points are high. Cheesy garlic bread — at $19? Yikes. The wine list was pricey as well, with all bottles $70+. Look: this is a potentially excellent restaurant that needs to make adjustments, but worth a visit in the meantime.More infoHoextersPrice: Very Expensive• American• Upper East Side•4.6
- FFernandoNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe restaurant’s interior is stunning, but for larger groups, you may be seated in an outdoor area. While the outdoor space is decent, it doesn’t quite match the ambiance of the inside. It is equipped with space heaters, but it was still a bit chilly during our visit. We requested to be moved indoors, and the staff was very accommodating, relocating us inside as space allowed. This, of course, depends on availability, and we were fortunate that there was room for our group of eight. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special by providing a birthday card for my niece and presenting her cake with a candle. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant 100%!More infoTavern on the GreenPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- TTamiNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy husband and I had New Year's Day brunch here today. I had not dined here for 20 years as I had moved from the neighborhood. I can truthfully say that that quality has not changed since Le Monde opened in 1998. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was festive. Our waiter, Chance, was also top notch. I will be back!More infoLe MondePrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.6
- YYolandaSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had the most amazing time at Aunt Jake's Pasta Making Experience. From the moment we arrived, I just knew it was going to be fun! The chef who taught us about pasta was funny yet informative; the atmosphere was cozy; the staff was friendly and attentive; and the food was delicious. The process was easy to understand and very well organized. What a great date and a wonderful way to start the new year. Highly highly highly recommend! :)More infoAunt Jake's Pasta ExperiencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Upper East Side•4.9
- CChrisVIPNew York City •41 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Nice, quiet brunch spot. Mussels and French onion soup were fabulous. The breakfast American was just ok. Bacon was too thick and double-fried. No bread with eggs which I would have liked. Would return, however. Very pretty and bright interior.More infoCafe Du SoleilPrice: Expensive• French• Upper West Side•4.7
