Best Cozy Restaurants in Molino del Rey

Food It is absolutely amazing. I loved everything. Only thing that I didn’t like that much it was that I reserved in the second floor and I got a table at the bar.

Casa Virginia is my new favorite restaurant in Mexico. The calming and stunning interior immediately transports you to the beginning of the last century and makes for an oasis in a loud and bustling city. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. And the food! The food is mouthwatering and full of flavor, and it speaks to the eyes and well as to the stomach. I enjoyed a range of delights from tender sea bass to the most scrumptious asparagus and beyond, and my only disappointment was that I had no room for dessert. I’ll be sure to visit Casa Virginia at least once on every trip to Mexico City and I would urge you to do the same and enjoy the culinary magic of Mónica Patiño. This was a great dinner experience and the food was delicious. Very friendly service and they went above and beyond to make sure my first date was a success.

Visiting CDMX on vacation. Enjoyed the Pork Belly sandwich and Shoyu soup restaurant. Our waiter Ernesto was excellent. He was able to explain the menu and help us decide on the starters, main course, and drinks.

We had such a great experience eating at Marcello! The bread service is INCREDIBLE! I could have made a meal out of that alone. The service was impeccable, they even took our lack of Spanish in stride and we're super patient. The portion sizes were amazing. We highly suggest the chicken parmigiana - enough food for several meals. The truffle pasta was incredible too. We couldn't stop eating it. The pizza was real delicious as well! I feel like you can't go wrong here. Only world of advice, don't sit on the sidewalk/patio section if you don't want to be approached by passerby's trying to sell you something or collect donations.
