- JJimvipWashington, D.C. Area •107 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoTimbuktu has the best crab cakes in town by far. What really makes them stand out is their wait staff. Especially waiter Diaz! He was so wonderful with my elderly parents (which everything happens sloooow). Diaz was kind of compassionate and thoughtful!More infoTimbuktuPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Hanover•4.3
- EEdWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst time at this historic restaurant, which I had never visited before for a very important occasion. The staff was impeccable in greeting and taking care of us throughout the evening. They went above and beyond to acknowledge the important occasion and provide an exceptional seating position right by the fireplace. The main courses were exceptional. My partner had the rabbit, which was absolutely scrumptous, albeit a little salty for her liking. Only if it had been served with a starch to cut that saltiness, then it would have been perfect. I had the rock fish special, which was hearty but also light. It was exactly what I was looking for after a Saturday of Friendsgìving. The creme brulee for dessert was really good, although the custard was slightly unset. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and meal. We will be back.More infoThe Elkridge Furnace InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Elkridge•4.9
- JJanevipBaltimore / Maryland •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent food and service! We had an 8:15 reservation, and the restaurant was packed with several parties waiting at the hostess stand. We went to the bar and had a seat, ordered drinks. Excellent service there as well. Very comfortable bar, so no problem that it took longer than quoted time. We were seated and after we ordered, the manager came to apologize for the wait in seating us. He offered to comp appetizers. Honestly, I have never had a manger come to apologize, much less offer something for a late seating (especially when we weren’t complaining at all). Top service tonight-one of our favorite places!More infoGlenwood's - Stanford Grill: ColumbiaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Columbia•4.7
