- KKatiePhiladelphia County •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIf you are looking for a true hug this is your spot. What a surprise as you walk into the gorgeous bar and then to the back of the restaurant where you are transported to a lodge, cabin, a time travel where pubs began? The immense drink menu had us gobsmacked at the banana old fashioned and festive cocktails, but vinos on tap? Pierogis were legit homemade and the bison meatloaf was a chef kiss and the hug you need on a cold night. Dessert was a true treat and the French press was smooth and delicious.More infoCarmella's Plates and PintsPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown•4.8
- NNancyPittsburgh / Western PA •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe took my mom to Golden Gai for her birthday. She loved it and had a great time. We were happy to find the foods that we loved so much in Japan earlier this year. The shrimp tempura was our favorite. The shrimp were huge and we loved the sauce that went with them. So flavorful! We also really enjoyed the gyoza (dumplings), spicy tuna roll and udon noodles with chicken. While we were dining, we were talking about the dishes we had and asking questions about things that were slightly different. The sushi chef heard us and told us more about the food and why it was done the way they do it. It was very interesting and he seemed like a great guy. There were so many good dishes and drinks on the menu that we’ll definitely be back to try more things.More infoGolden GaiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Point Breeze•4.8
- TTriciaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had new years brunch here and it was my first time. They were short staffed so I was expecting long delays but the waitress was fantastic, and very knowledgeable, and there were no delays. We shared the pierogis and the salad to start and both were fantastic. Everything is made in house and from local ingredients. The burger, chicken sandwich and pork chop were also top notch. It’s clear they are passionate about quality. We will definitely be back!More infoButterjointPrice: Moderate• French / American• Oakland•4.6

- CCarrieabPittsburgh / Western PA •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024My daughter & I went to Ritual House for the first time last night. We got seated in a booth near the bar. We ordered a bread board and the edamame, both were good! I ordered the Asian inspired chicken and got the sauce on the side, as recommended by the waiter. The chicken was moist and the breading perfectly done! The sauce was on the sweeter side (almost like syrup), so I am glad it was on the side. Didn’t care for the slaw. My daughter got a grilled chicken Caesar salad, she said it was good! We will definitely be back to try some different food.More infoRitual HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
