It was a quintessential German lunch. Great food. Good service except for a somewhat rude welcome by the manager.

I was looking for something a little off the beaten path for a Christmas dinner for one and came across Le Bouquet on Open Table. French-Japanese fusion sounded intriguing and I was not disappointed—it was fantastic. Very clever combination of two unique cuisine styles. The food was beautifully prepared, steaming hot, and super delicious. They had a pre-fixe menu for Christmas, so not sure what’s on the normal menu, but again, I was very pleased. Wine menu was good and varied but not so much as to be overwhelming. Service was quick and attentive but not overbearing and the staff spoke German and English (menu was German only, so brush up on your reading skills if you’re not German). About a 10 minute uphill walk from Schwabstrasse S-Bahn station. 3 course menu with amuse bouche and endless bread, plus wine, water, aperitif, and a starter was a very reasonable €109. I’ll be a repeat customer!

Wonderful spot for Sunday Brunch! Excellent food and superior service. Make sure you try the avocado cottage cheese - it’s a treat!
