This little restaurant deserves a LOT of success! All the ingredients for an excellent dining experience!

We came to the Black Swan having passed it by, many times whilst travelling to a favourite dog walking area. We kept saying we must go there for a meal some time. Well today we did, and will definitely be returning. The service was excellent as was the meal, we had a Valentine Special, haunch of venison.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The French Table! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for an exceptional lunch. The food was delicately prepared and bursting with flavor—every dish was cooked to perfection, and we truly couldn’t ask for more. It was a special occasion—my wife’s birthday—and the team made it even more memorable with their impeccable service and attention to detail. She was beyond happy and completely satisfied with the meal, making it a perfect celebration. Lovely welcome when we arrived and staff continued to be friendly and efficient during our visit One of the party has a restricted diet but he enjoyed his French fries and creamed leeks. I felt the portion was very small Good atmosphere as the pub began to fill up Enjoyed our visit and will go back.
