Best Cozy Restaurants in Westlake

I’ve been to several locations and never had a bad meal or bad service. This is no exception. Please keep in mind that they literally JUST opened less than 2 months ago. Also, a reminder that a restaurant seeming short staffed isn’t a good reason for a bad review, especially if you had great service and your food was made well. The staff is always wonderful, from the host stand to the servers, the kitchen and the management. If you are coming here for a quick 30 minute in and out, go elsewhere and save this for when you have the time to enjoy it. Cooper’s Hawk is intended to be a slow paced experience, where you enjoy each course with plenty of time in between to also enjoy the company you’re with. Almost like a throwback to the time when families would sit around the table to talk for hours - to savor the moments and the flavors of a good meal. Yes, the bar gets backed up. They are also a winery and sometimes people go JUST for the wines/bar. Their cocktails are hand made and not pre-mixed. You can have quality or quickness. I’ll gladly wait on quality. The food has always been phenomenal, with some of my personal favorites being the potstickers and flatbreads for appetizers and then the gnocchi (any of them) and the short ribs for a lunch or dinner entree. Today I got the shrimp scampi and it was perfectly done. Oh, and those donuts at Saturday brunch are for sure worth a cheat day. Make sure you don’t skip on the pretzel bread, and of course the wines (my favorite is the Sparkling Almond or the Cooper’s Hawk Merlot and Cabernet). ☺️

Once again the food and the service at Hyde Park was exceptional . From the seafood tower to the lobster and filet mignon , the food was delicious. We enjoy dining here as the staff makes our family feel special . You won’t be disappointed!!

This was our first time at Rosewood it was a great experience. We arrived earlier than our reserved time but were seated without a problem. All staff ere great, food was delicious. We will return. Thank you for your service on Christmas Eve.

Our second time here and it’s such a cute gem in this area. Steak as one would hope is phenomanal, fresh bread and the cherry on top is the wonderful service. It was packed to no surprise for Christmas Eve, we had a special request for seating and it was great. Our first time I fell in love with the beef stroganoff and lobster bisque. My only critique is I wasn’t a favorite of their famous mushroom side ( just not for me) nor the lobster pasta dish. For the cessear I prefer shaved over shredded parm but still taste good. The claws seemed old but the other chunks seemed fine, maybe a one off. Will definitely be back to try more items. They have a great lunch special, the kids menu is great and looked awesome even an medium well don’t steak on that was not overcooked by any means and a great portion. Really personal bow staff that checks on you and a cozy cabin vibe

We ended up sitting at the bar on Christmas Eve and Tracy did an excellent job serving us. The drinks were delicious. The bread isn't as good as it used to be and also the butter. This bread is rather dry and hard and we miss the honey butter. We ordered the twin filets with fingerling potatoes and succotash. It had some strange smokey tomato sauce for the steak. We were slightly dissappointed with the meal. I was glad I asked for a side of bearnaise sauce but that was real thick too. Usually we love any of the food there but nothing was seasoned enough. The potatoes weren't good because it was just fingerling potatoes with so flavor to them. The succotash was just a corn relish. We will come back in the future but not for a good steak like we wanted to treat ourselves with for the holiday. So sorry for the bad review.
