Taxim, which is located in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood, features regionally-inspired Greek dishes paired with an all-Greek wine list.     Wonderful experience! First time at Francesca but we will definitely be back! We started out with the CARPACCIO CON AVOCADO, along with their fresh bread - fantastic! My husband ordered ROLLI ALLA FRANCESCA, which he was very happy with. I ordered AGNOLOTTI QUATTRO FORMAGGI, delicious little pasta pillows with wild mushrooms & brown butter sauce. Well balanced, and delicious! We went for the classic tiramisu, the best I’ve ever had! We also ordered the Sticky Toffee Carrot Cake. My husband orders carrot cake wherever we go & he said this was definitely in his top 3. The coffee was simple, classic and delicious. Along with solid service, the manager came over to introduce himself & check on us. Chefs kiss to this entire dining experience!

    Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the Greek wine list and recommended special items on the food menu. We assumed she was Greek, but when she heard my husband and our friend speaking German, she spoke Deutsch, and we learned that she is half German American and Italian American. It was an amazing meal and a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays with our friends.
