- RRobynVIPToronto / Ontario •10 reviews5.0Dined todayThe food and drinks were delicious. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was casual and fun. The only negative was the price for a side of rice. That seemed high for a small bowl that typically comes with the meal. But overall it was a great dining experience.More infoBar Goa-ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Indian• River North (Chicago)•4.2
- LLinneaVIPChicago / Illinois •94 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom amuse bouche to bonbons, superlatives barely scrape the surface of the fare and experience served up by well-trained, genial staff. If saffron is your go-to, the swordfish entré would be a good choice; for carnivores, the short-ribs are succulent and ‘knives unnecessary’ bites. Soufflés are masterfully crafted, subtly flavored, and good to the last spoonful. The crackling fireplace in the Salon de Thé provided a warm welcome on the cold solstice. Altogether a pleasurable experience.More infoLes NomadesPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.8
- AAnuradhaChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our second time dining at Bar Mar and we absolutely loved it both times! The ambiance, hostess staff, cocktails, wine selection, caviar cones, and too many items on the food menu to name! Our waiter Alex was so attentive and didn’t rush us. And who can forget the Bar - just spectacular! Would definitely return.More infoBar MarPrice: Expensive• Spanish• River North (Chicago)•4.6
- BBronwynNew Mexico •33 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOur server was extremely knowledgeable about the Greek wine list and recommended special items on the food menu. We assumed she was Greek, but when she heard my husband and our friend speaking German, she spoke Deutsch, and we learned that she is half German American and Italian American. It was an amazing meal and a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays with our friends.More infoTaximPrice: Moderate• Greek• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.5
- MMartinoChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 1, 2024It was a little cold in the restaurant, this was due to it being a very cold night and the door allowed a breeze in every time someone arrived and left. Also the A/C was on in the men's room and the water was very cold. These issues are easily fixed. All in all the food was excellent and the service was top notch. The staff found the perfect balance of allowing my party to feel as if someone was always around and available without being over bearing. I prefer when staff allows patrons to enjoy the wonderful meal they prepared without constantly asking if we need anything. The food was amazing and the spicy miso soup was a welcomed change to the typical miso soup.More infoEnso Sushi & BarPrice: Moderate• Sushi• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.8
