Best Date Night Restaurants in Danforth / Greek Town

Top-notch service: Ali was extremely knowleable and able to help us decide on our menu choices. All the other staff was attentive as well. The food was outstanding along with the restaurant being beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. Highly Recommended!

Food was excellent. Ambiance was great. Service was exceptional. One star was lost because of two things: (1) the table was not wiped before giving us the dessert menu. There were crumbs on the table; (2) the Negroni did not have the big square ice cube but had ice chunks. Excuse given by server was lame - they had no room to store the ice cubes.

Linny's offers the whole package. A unique and elegantly designed space with an atmosphere that takes you back to the 50's, paired with warm service and delicious food. We started with the challah service, which is baked daily and served with a delicious housemade jam that apparently changes with the seasons. After that, a few noshes; the fresh house salad tossed with bulgar and champagne vinegraite, king salmon served with crispy potato latkes, and the unexpectedly delightful kasha bows pasta, which was complimented perfectly by the addition of truffles. For our mains, we enjoyed a combination of perfectly cooked hanger steak, mushroom crepe, and the crunchiest fries on ossington. The cabbage with beemster cheese was also *chefs kiss* 👌 Our server Vanessa and the whole team was very friendly, and we can't wait to come back. PS. The babka dessert was incredible, but also try the apple cake with a scoop of their vanilla ice cream for good measure.

I treasure the nights we eat here. Very likely more than 30 visits since the Danforth location opened. Business dinners, family dinners, birthdays … any excuse really. Truly one of the only restaurants I will order the fish dish. Their Calamari is the best in town (non traditional that’s why it works). Any of the dishes with mama’s tomato sauce are the bomb. Salads always fresh and lively (mushroom my fave). Be sure to ask for a hot chilli condiment jar for your table. My best gal Lillian just loved it that stuff! We miss Charlie. I think she is at the prince Edward County location.

Had a delicious lunch at Fresh on Danforth with my girlfriend. Service was attentive, nice ambience, and we sat near the front at a bench table with natural light coming through the windows. We shared the lunch special- 1 app and 2 mains. We had the bbq cauliflower bites app. It was medium spiced, though a bit too sour for my taste, but my friend was fine with it. We both enjoyed the Goddess Bowl- chunky tofu steaks, steamed kale and broccoli, avocado slices served with brown rice underneath, but my friend preferred the soba noodle option, all topped with the crunchy chili oil- taberu rayu, but if you prefer not spicy ask for it on the side. The ginger tahini dressing over the perfectly cooked brown rice was a balanced addition to the bowl. Portions large enough we both took home about 1/3 of our meal. Overall a lovely lunch.
