Best Date Night Restaurants in Keizer

Not our first visit here and won't be our last. L'Orange combines great dishes (onion soup is back for the winter!) and wine pairings, low key but attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. The mussels and clams were served in a Zatarains spiced broth for a kick and the L'orange cake is bright and comforting and crunchy sweet with caramelized sugar at the edges. The three separate dining areas keep noise at a level that facilitates conversation, such a rare and nostalgic idea: Other restaurants can keep their noisy, spare dining areas with music that muscles out any attempts at conversation, we are delighted to have L'Orange as a dining option.

Amazing service by all staff, but especially by Ellie. She was attentive and personable, checking in often to ensure all our needs were met. Her attention to detail made our special evening, my husband’s retirement celebration, even more memorable. Side note: the wood smoked cocktails (my husband chose the Flamed Orange Old Fashioned) were fascinating and delicious. I also appreciate that we could bring our own special bottle of wine and drink it with a small corkage fee.

Our meals were delicious and the waitress and staff were all helpful and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant and location.

We’ve always had a great experience at Nostrana, and love to celebrate special occasions there. Ensalata Nostrana and Pizza with extra fixings are a great standby; last night we got the Papardelle as well, so good! Excellent wine list and the Tiramisu is a perfect way to end the meal.

Easy to make the reservation online (though limited open spots) through Open Table. Showed up on time for our Monday 530 pm res for 4 and was greeted with a smile and genuine positive energy. When seated, Brandon, who took great care of us, explained the specials, several of the regular dishes and wine choices. The service was mostly Brandon who was helped by other members of the staff, as well. Noise level was much more muted than usual for an exposed brick decor and lent to the feeling of a cozy dinner. It seemed many of the guests were regulars and gushed over the owners, staff and dishes. We didn't try the desserts as we were stuffed after such wonderful offerings Biggest hits for us were the sunchokes and Bolognese.
