Best Date Night Restaurants in Alvin / Pearland

I went here for galentines & it was absolutely MARVELOUS! You have to valet or park on the street, but street parking was surprisingly easy to find. The door was always opened for us & the guy helped my friends get group pics, which was super kind. The ambient lighting, the live music that transitioned into a DJ later on that night, the amazing bartender (ask for Kelyn, she’s awesome), our super sweet bartender (Zickee? I know I’m mispelling his name, but he was so attentive & kind), & the FOOD. The burger genuinely was the best burger I’ve ever eaten (if you don’t like too much butter, maybe avoid this), the deviled eggs had CAVIAR on it & tasted so good… I wanted to fight my two other friends for the last egg hehe. The lambchop was great, but if you’re HUNGRY, it’s only that on top of a polenta (kind of a cheesy, hashbrown but I think it’s cornmeal not potatoes), so I’d advise getting a side or two with that. The pasta looked amazing, & it genuinely wasn’t as expensive as it may feel. We split everything evenly & with a large tip it was still a decent price! And they gave us chocolate covered strawberries topped with real gold flakes at the end. Perfect restaurant, my absolute favourite in Houston now. Still dreaming of the burger!

Food was superb! We waiting a few minutes. It was Valentines Day so we expected some wait time. While waiting, they served apps which was nice. We were seated and our waiter was super sweet! The food was soooooo great. No complaints whatsoever. Can’t wait to go back!

from the time we walked in the front door, we’re seated in the lower dining area, and our server Emmett walked up and introduced himself, we felt welcomed and ready to enjoy dinner. My husband had the New York steak, I had the pork chop, which was outstanding. We enjoyed the brussels sprouts and splurged for the lobster mac & cheese. Upon Emmett‘s recommendation, we tried the warm carrot cake with shavings carrot on top, and we were not disappointed. I love carrot cake and this was the absolute best carrot cake I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

We were celebrating three best friends birthdays!! Our waiter immediately brought each of us a complementary glass of champagne. That was a nice touch to start our evening! We were not rushed, which I appreciated. The only negative was!You have to order everything at once but our waiter Charles was wonderful and worked with us. It’s definitely a fun people watching place. The food and cocktails were fabulous. I had an old fashion cocktail. It was very good. We had lobster escargot! Yum!! Spicy cauliflower was a hit! Steak tar tar and an artichoke appetizer. Also we had a spicy Caesar salad, which I would have again if you go don’t miss out on the lobster escargot or the cauliflower. I would go again.

We made reservations for 5:30 PM arrived about 15 minutes early and was seated right away. Our server appeared a minute later and it was on from there, we ordered cocktails from the bar which made it to the table at a decent time (they were delicious). I ordered an appetizer (sriracha queso and chips) let me just say I did not taste any sriracha so she brought me some on the side I added it to the queso (huge mistake) we had to re- order the appetizer in order to enjoy it. I also ordered the mozzarella and tomato basil salad which was amazing…my husband ordered the Ceasar salad (equally amazing) now let’s get to the main entrees…I ordered the Italian chicken parmigiana ( the cutlets were tough and bland so was the spaghetti it lacked any type of real flavor) My husband ordered his usual steak and veggies I should’ve followed suit but I just had to try the pasta dish big disappointment. Toward the end of dinner I ordered the same cocktail and the waitress forgot to put in the order so that took quite a bit of time to come back to the table. On the up side to pay the bill you can scan the QR code on the check and pay online, I loved that feature. Overall ranking my experience 1 out of 10 with ten being the highest I’d rate it a 5 not perfect but half way there. Would I recommend to friends (yes) go, eat, and have your own experience judge for yourself! Enjoy
