Best Date Night Restaurants in River North (Denver)

Thank our lucky stars we have finally tried Alma fonda fina!!! This place lived up to its expectations and more; The ambiance and decor had substance but weren't to overwhelming or distracting, it's a cozy vibe and everyone seems elated to be there. Now for the food... There were so many times throughout the night that it almost brought me to tears. It was SO good and the dishes were all humble mexican dishes with only slight additions that knocked it out of this world with flavor, there were also some dishes that i would typically not try or ask for certain things removed but that didn't even matter in this case it was all so good.The staff were amazing from the time we stepped in we were taken care of, our cup was never empty they knew when to check in on us or give recommendations. I would 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience there own Anton ego momemt because that is what I experienced, this place brought me back to childhood; to an amazing nostalgic moment I can't wait to experience again.

A fabulous experience in every way! My husband and I (big foodies) went the night after Christmas for dinner with my in-laws and the food and service were excellent. We ordered the crispy rice with spicy tuna, french onion soup and two salads to start which were all delicious. Same for our entrees: the black cod, 16oz ribeye, pork chop and 4 oz sirloin with the truffle gnocchi, brussel sprouts and carrots on the side. Our server and the chef were very accommodating to my MIL's strict restrictions / modifications. If you can request a server, ask for Jonathan. Since pre-covid, service at restaurants has been fairly disappointing, but not here. Jonathan was by far the best server we've had anywhere in a very long time. Looking forward to returning on our next trip to see our parents.

I was immediately drawn to the Christmas menu and my group agreed it looked great. We were seated at a table for 8 (we were a party of 6) which was great because we promptly ordered tons of food! We ate family style. I prefer this so that I can taste a bit of everything. Most everything was notable! The only negatives were the yams having no flavor and the overabundance of potatoes! We had two servings of mashed and an order of au gratin. It may have been nice to substitute a salad or veggies for all that mashed. Either way, it was a yummy holiday dinner. Loved the cocktails! Thank you!

This might just be my favorite restaurant in Denver. The basement is one of the coolest spots we have ever dined—such a cool vibe. The pasta is out of this world, the wine selection is fantastic, and the service is top notch. Can’t say enough good things!

Went for brunch. The digital Menu system was challenging to use for our group. I dined with parents who were less comfortable completing order and filling out profile a cc info before eating. The Order of dishes came out a little weird. Food was very good! There was only one server on staff so our food sat in the window for a bit before we got it. They stopped offering coffee at brunch but were ok with us bringing in coffee from BSC next door.
