Best Date Night Restaurants in Stony Brook

Absolutely my hands down number one go to for a fabulous meal and consistent service ALWAYS!!!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for that reliable kind of place! ALWAYS TOP NOTCH!

Wonderful birthday dinner! Again, Deliah was excellent! I regret not getting our server's name. She was also very good!

Always a memorable night at Bliss. Was greeted by Ron the owner, who is just a charming, outgoing host. Sat my 92 y/o dad as he made his way in his walker to our table. Great apps including bacon wrapped dates, Ceasar salad, chicken pot pie and more. Followed by entrees of their outstanding burger, salmon and chilean sea bass all cooked perfectly. Dominic our waiter was fantastic. You can’t go wrong coming home to Bliss, an excellent choice for dinner. 

Unfortunately, for Valentines Day, it wasn’t the quiet romantic atmosphere we had hoped for. There was a very loud group with a baby and small child at a corner table in our room of otherwise couples.

The food is always amazing here. The petit filet Oscar style was very good. The sweet potato casserole is so delicious, no other restaurant has anything that can compare! Dylan our server did a fantastic job, tending to our every need. He suggested the champagne toast which was a very romantic touch. The bread, which some restaurants charge for, was fresh and warm; they replenished it 3 times. Dylan wrapped our leftovers for us.
