We was sitting right away, the restaurant was busy with only one other table sitting empty (not for long), but the restaurant was running smoothly, and we was greeted by our server right away,- The server explained the menu, and pointed out what made some of the dishes extra special. We order coffee (served fresh and hot) right away, and we order our entrees. Both entrees was delivered in 10 minutes, and was delicious! We will be back again soon! What I really love about Restaurant Seabird is that the restaurant is great for so many things…. A drink (or two) at the Bar, many times with a couple of appetizers, for a great casual meal on a weekday, for a nice get together, dressed up a little for Friday or Saturday and of course for Brunch on the weekends…. You will be happy if you visit, I do recommend making a reservation for the dining room, have always been able to get a chair or two at the Bar !More infoSeabirdPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.9

We were able to be seated early and the staff was very attentive to any need we had. I’ve always heard good things about this restaurant. The location and the ambience is one thing that will definitely bring us back.More infoFloriana - WilmingtonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilmington•4.7
- DDannySan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe've been coming here for 3 years now and always choose this location for any sort of big occasion. In this case, we chose Valentines Day! Food phenomenal. Drinks are always great. I went to park the car while my wife got to our reservation. Came inside to see her, saying she slipped and fell in front of the hostess. Told me the hostess acted like it was no big deal and then was offered a complimentary drink. I felt no need to escalate as it was a busy night and we always enjoy the food. Would look forward to seeing a bit more genuine concern for a slip and fall incident when the floor was wet from something. The drink just seemed like a way to defuse the situation and doesn't help that my wife isn't any bit confrontational.More infoButcher and Barrel by True BluePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Wilmington•4.7
- DDawnVIPRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •26 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was not our first visit and it won’t be our last. I absolutely love the charm and ambiance in this restaurant but the food and service would keep us coming back no matter what the place looked like. I had the goat cheese salad and my husband has the butternut squash soup - a special the day we visited. Both tasted so delicious and the portions were very nice. For dinner I had the afternoon - a speciality of the restaurant. The broth is creamy but light - I know it sounds odd - but it is not a heavy broth. It is rich and the perfect medium for the delicious seafood which was all cooked perfectly. Scallops, shrimp, salmon, white fish (sorry have no idea what it was but delicious! and mussels. My husband had the beef Bourgogne which he loved and mopped up every ounce of sauce with the crispy French bread. We were so full but made room to share the pistachio crème brûlée. A thin layer of crispy caramelized sugar covered a creamy a custard. However I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the service. Our server was both attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wines - the food arrived timely and temperate which rounded out the wonderful experience.More infoCaprice BistroPrice: Moderate• French• Wilmington•4.8

Mike, our server, was friendly and quite informed of the menu and checked on us often. We especially loved the ambiance with the fire log TV and good music.More infoQuanto Basta: Italian Eatery & Wine Bar - WilmingtonPrice: Expensive• Italian• Wilmington•4.7
