A neighborhood staple since 1984, Victor's has evolved into the perfect reflection of an Italian Trattoria. Though the quality of the food, thoughtfulness of the service, and the caliber of wines, beers, and cocktails offered may hint at a more upscale Ristorante, Victor's remains a cozy neighborhood spot, perfect for all occasions. The menu changes with the season and highlights local products when possible. Come and enjoy stuzzichini (snacks) at the bar with a pint from a local brewer or pair any of our more than 100 wines (over 1/3 of Italian varietals) from our wine list with Chef's award winning menu.

On the main road from York to York Haven, and on the Conewago Creek near the point where the creek meets the Susquehanna River, the Conewago Inn has offered fine dining and friendly service for decades. Revolutionary War statesmen the Marquis de Lafayette in 1825 and author Charles Dickens in 1842 were among those who passed within yards of where you sit today. Prior to and during the American Civil War, slaves escaping from the south were hidden in what is now the basement of the Inn as well as in a barn which stood across the road.In later years, a trolley line brought visitors by the hundreds to Elm Beach Park, a stone’s throw away from the Conewago Inn. The main log building dates to 1860. The building served as a farm house until the early 1920’s when it became an Inn named for the creek that flows nearby. Briefly named the Creekside Inn, the restaurant and tavern has since been known as the Conewago Inn. Enjoy your visit with us and let our family take care of your family!

The Oregon Grille never disappoints! We started with the prawn scampi and potato skins & caviar – a staple! Everything was fresh and packed with flavor. We enjoyed a 6oz filet and gnocchi – both were perfection. The steak was cooked perfectly to temperature, and the gnocchi was rich and satisfying. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can always count on a great meal and a great time. Highly recommend!

First time dining here. The place is as beautiful as i’ve always heard. Very classy. My girlfriend said the Chicken Piccata was the best meal she’s ever had. I had the Lamb and it was very good. Didn’t catch our servers name but she was very nice & attentive. We sat by the bar but it wasn’t loud at all. The chocolate hazelnut rocher was incredible.

Walking into The Ruxton feels like stepping into a world of pure opulence. From the warm lighting to the tasteful décor, everything about the atmosphere left me in awe. I also appreciated the music selection, which was refreshingly diverse—and I loved the unexpected twist of hearing some Christian rap in the playlist. Our server, Jordyn, elevated the experience with excellent service and thoughtful recommendations. The Wagyu steak, paired with its rich sauce, was simply outstanding, and the Wagyu sliders did not disappoint either. One of the highlights was the salad, featuring bacon so flavorful it might be the best I’ve ever had. The lobster mac and cheese was solid—maybe not quite at the level of my grandmother’s Southern-style recipe, but still satisfying in its own right. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the attentive service—made for a wonderful lunch date. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience with top-quality dishes and a welcoming vibe, The Ruxton should be at the top of your list.
