The Rabbits is a family friendly gastro pub & restaurant in the heart of the essex countryside. We pride ourselves on good friendly service and good quality homecooked food with our seasonal menus, we serve real ales, fine wines & premium spirits. We have a great beer garden where you can take in the picturesque views whilst not having to go too far to order any food or drink as this can all be done at our garden bar which is also playing background music around our garden, this is open Thurs-Sunday throughout the spring/summer weather permitting. We had the new Winter lunch menu. The prawns and beef tacos were absolutely delicious. We ordered medium steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The knife cut through the steak like butter. Will visit again!

Such a lovely warm atmosphere. Staff were friendly And attentive. Cannot fault any of the food. One son is vegetarian and he had a wide selection to choose from. This was our first visit but won’t be our last Highly recommend and you will not leave disappointed or hungry as the portions were huge
