Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Tarzana

We brought my wife to II Fornaio for her birthday. Alberto, our waiter, provided excellent service throughout our entire dining experience. He greeted us warmly with a sense of humor. He immediately informed us of items on the menu that were in low supply. He checked on us frequently throughout our meal. He offered alternatives for food allergies. He brought my wife a dessert for her birthday. The food was excellently prepared and tasted great. I had the salmon with carrots and potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. My wife loved the butternut squash ravioli. Our kids loved their vodka pasta dishes. The food is pricey because there is a charge for everything that you order, including the bottles of water. Overall, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed everything.

The entire dining experience was one of the best I've had in a long time, and I eat at very wonderful places. Ample parking, cozy atmosphere. The house white wine that evening was a new choice and it was very smooth. The Ceasar Salad was perfect, the eggplant in the harissa sauce just blended in my mouth, but the best of show was definitely the bass special. crispy, perfectly cooked, sauce just light enough but still flavorful, and the wonderful touch of the gnocchi was unique and I enjoyed how they just melted in my mouth. BUT, I am definitely a DESSERT lover and when I saw there was Sticky Toffee Pudding on the menu I probably might just have had the wonderful looking fries to save room for this dessert. It was perfect, steamy warm, with a scoop of vanilla, topped with drizzles of toffee sauce. Hmmm...

This is third thanksgiving had La Bohème and was not as good as a previous two years. Turkey with a little dry and could have used more gravy and mashed potatoes or not hot. I’m not having dessert. Options was also a disappointment. I love the restaurant, the energy and the service, but the food needs to improve.

The room to the left can get get loud, especially with kids running around, but it is still pleasant. The mushroom hummus is insanely good, though at $19... welcome to the new world of dining out. The rib eye skewer is delicious and enough for two to share. My only wish is the onions were grilled or cooked more. They were almost raw. Still a good compliment to the meat, but... The service is very friendly and easy going and overall, this is still a great place to eat.

I had a very nice lunch and great service at El torito in Woodland Hills. I had not been to an El torito restaurant in a while so it was actually a very refreshing experience to go back to one and really enjoy the food and the service
