- MMatthewDerbyshire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst visit & won’t be my last. First time my son has come with us to a decent restaurant, 11 years old he had mussels, sirloin and a chocolate fondant. Loved everything he ate. Comte gougere- phenomenal!! Snacks through to dessert all cooked & presented well, can tell they use quality ingredients and have a kitchen team that can cook. Servers all polite and friendly. As a chef it’s hard to go out to eat and enjoy it however the Duncombe arms delivered great food, friendly unintrusive service at good value (£75 each snacks, 3 courses with service charge and tip too)More infoThe Duncombe ArmsPrice: Expensive• British• Ashbourne•4.6
- PPhilipCheshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had an excellent lunchtime meal here today. All of the food was excellent, with good portion sizes and it was really good value (there is a 2 course offer in the afternoon). The staff were all really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and the pub itself is really nice and has a good atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again and would absolutely recommend it for good quality pub food, done really well, in a nice environment with great staff.More infoThe White Horse ChurtonPrice: Expensive• British• Churton•4.8
- RRebeccaShropshire •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoThe staff were lovely this includes the chef. We booked our table with our requirements (veggie). We were hoping to have the Christmas menu but the veggie option. When we arrived they told us they didn't have it available as they didn't know, and the nut roats takes quite a bit of time to prepare. However, the chef offered us a veggie curry as an alternative, which was lovely. We are happy for the alternative, but was looking forward to a christmas meal (as we were doing the santa safari). If you read this please don't see this as a negative, I would just like it noted. The staff were lovely and service was good. When there was an issue they came with a solution. However we did notify them well in advance of our requirements.More info1792 Bar & GrillPrice: Expensive• Grill• Shrewsbury•3.9

Only small recommendation is that the dips should come with flat bread without having to pay extra.More infoVoltaPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Didsbury•4.8
