Best Fine Dining Restaurants in River North (Chicago)

Today was the best ocean prime experience I've ever had. The service, the food, the drinks, everything was perfect. I will definitely be back soon. We had today's special, and it was lick the plate delicious. Chefs kiss

Everything was great. The service was a little slow, even though the restaurant was not full and the billing system seems to add automatically 20%. It feels that I didn’t have a choice in the matter..

We had dinner for four to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The place is a very cool speakeasy vibe. Good cocktails with huge whiskey selection. Ordered nduja meatballs and burrata (with whiskey soaked grapes) for starters and both were good. Small annoyance that server suggested we also add a bread order - burratta listed torn ciabatta so we said it doesn’t come with bread? She said well it’s small… so we ordered the bread and when the burratta came it had no bread at all - just croutons. The extra bread order came with three small triangle pieces of bread (for 4 people) sigh. It was definitely necessary to have the bread - so why the upsale - just include it. And if you do buy it at least include a piece for every person. The burratta was $19 without bread to spread it on - just annoying. The rest of the meal was tasty - no complaints on flavor and they did bring a dessert for my husband’s bday. No music (on a Saturday night) so that was a little bummer, but they also had a large private event going on so I assume that might be why. Overall a nice experience
