Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Downtown Cleveland / Playhouse Square

I think the price was a bit steep for the quality. I had the beef short rib and wish that the chef was a bit more heavy handed with the demi glace especially since the beef was over. It was a bit tough/dry and I wasnt super appealing to the eye Everyone else generally enjoyed their meals although I don’t think anyone was blown away. $240 with tip for 4 people including two kids and two adults (3 adult beverages total). Service was friendly and ambiance was there. Probably will not go back due to price for quality ratio.

Dining here is an experience not to be rushed. Take advantage of the table side preparations that are offered. We loved the Parmesan pasta cart and the bananas foster was perfect! Treat yourself to a nice night out with wonderful food and immaculate service.

One of the fine dining experiences in Cleveland. The Marriott hotel is very nice, but I stay at the Marriott when I come to Cleveland because of this restaurant.

All four of us went to dinner before seeing a show at Playhouse Square. The service was top shelf and the food was excellent. We were eating off each other’s plate because it ALL looked so good. 😊 our waitress was beyond impressive; in fact the whole staff was in excellent form. This is our 8th or 10th visit this year and they never disappoint. Bravo 👏!

We’ve dined at Blue Point before over the years, but tonight was by far our favorite time. We took my daughter for our annual Christmas dinner and it could not have been more perfect. Our server, Hailie was so kind and attentive. She made the experience truly special for my daughter. Our appetizer, entrees and desserts were perfect. The Christmas decorations at Blue Point are second to none and elicit the ambiance of a Manhattan restaurant during and holidays. We cannot recommend Blue Point or our server Hailie highly enough.
