Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Gärtnerplatz

Pleasant restaurant close to the opera. They have many small rooms on the top floor. We were placed almost alone in one room, which took away one of the nice aspects about eating out, to do it together with other guests. The food was very good, albeit a bit pricey. We had liver and schnitzel and they were both tasty. Next time we will ask for a table on the bottom floor, which was much more lively and interesting.

As an American who has frequented here a few times I can say the Seehaus and Biergarten are always top notch. I recommended making a reservation for dinner and getting the 2 person GrillPlate: 10/10. Kind service and they also are nice about speaking English to those who’s German isn’t great yet!

Came here for dinner. The food was delicious with good portion sizes. Service was very good. Prices were reasonable too. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding service and food! My husband and I came on our first night after arrival from the US. Very jet-lagged. Our server Gloria was the most charming, impeccably hospitable, and attentive waitress we have ever had! The food was sooo delicious, including a free starter gazpacho from the chef. I am gluten-free and the chef was kind enough to tailor my meal perfectly to my desires. The restaurant’s atmosphere is like a lush fairytale garden tucked into the heart of the city. The staff treated us royally. I cannot say enough Danke Schons! Most highly recommend to other travelers.

Very good food and nice waiters and waitresses. Ambiance was amazing and were allowed to stay until 12 midnight
