Always a positive and delicious experience at Barrel and Roost. Lovely waitstaff and good food in an excellent atmosphere. Get there for the Christmas decor. It is beautiful and fun!

Was greeted right away with friendly faces. Service was quick and polite. Food was good as usual at Woody's.

Another wonderful night- food was over the top excellent! Three of us had the sizzling black pepper filet mignon! A guaranteed winner ! Perfectly done with peppers and onions al dente ! One diner had the tempura shrimp and loved it! Our other guest had the other scallion/ onion sizzling filet mignon platter…. He loved it as well! This restaurant is a neighborhood gem ! You won’t be disappointed!

There were 6 people in our party. The waitress was attentive and we were there for lunch. I had the “Monty Cristo”, while the others enjoy the burgers with cheese, and chicken pot pies. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaurant and Inn were also nicely decorated for the holidays, we had a nice view of the Navesink River. It was a pleasant afternoon experience with my family members.
