- MMerylNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoCelebrated Thanksgiving at this first-class fine-dining restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the minute we walked in, we were made to feel welcome. The food and wait staff were impeccable, even on a holiday during which there were three seatings scheduled. The pumpkin bisque, which started the meal, had a show-stopping presentation - it was in a small white pumpkin surrounded by autumn leaves. The rest of the meal from first course through dessert were perfection. A unique feature of the decor are enormous crystals of red salt, encased in glass and which were backlit for dramatic effect, a nod to the chef’s use of the ingredient in curing his dry-aged steaks that are displayed along the front wall of the restaurant. Will definitely dine here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal.More infoRed Salt Room by David BurkePrice: Very Expensive• American• Garden City•4.7
