Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Harbor Island

C* is our go-to for any special occasion. They make the best steaks of all of San Diego - possibly of all of Southern California! This time around we were celebrating a birthday. C* service is always impeccable - everyone from the host to the waitstaff asked whose birthday it was and wished our birthday guest a happy birthday which was a sweet touch. We got the French Onion Soup to start, the best made anywhere. Also got the 40oz Porterhouse for 2 which was AMAZING - perfect amount for 2 people. Mac & Cheese side, which was a hit and the bacon was a delicious topping. Sticky Toffee Cake for dessert - also very unique and tasty. Can’t go wrong with their cocktail menu either! Our favorites include the C* Old Fashioned, Smoking Gun, and Oaxaca Old Fashioned. We’ll be back soon enough to try out some of the dessert liquors as well!

Had such a lovely evening at Kettner. We had the spicy tuna cripsy rice, house made bread and peanut dipping sauch, the pork chop and sonoma lamb and szechuan noodles. Everything was fantastic. My personal favorite were the noodles. They had great flavor. It was spicy but not too much.

It was an amazing experience at your establishment. The tofu dish was delicious.

Another magical Christmas celebration with girlfriends at Mister A's! Excellent food and service as usual. The views are spectacular, too, and we had a beautiful day. My only complaint is that there are only a couple of salads to choose from on the lunch menu. It would be nice to include a few more options. Otherwise, it was excellent!

Great service! Apps were delicious. We ordered the cheese wheel pasta and there wasn’t any cheese left in the wheel. Still tasted pretty good but they shouldn’t offer a cheese wheel pasta if they are out of cheese.
